Content Strategy and Content Direction for Topicals at LaQuan Smith Fashion show SS23

Content Strategy and Content Direction for Topicals at LaQuan Smith Fashion show SS23

The Goal:
- extend Topical's presence   at the LaQuan Smith SS23 fashion show from an in person show, to social media.
- show the importance of skin prep behind the scenes of a fashion show
- partner with an influencer to show and story tell their point-of-view of attending a fashion show

Execution:
- Create and execute a social media plan and influencer marketing brief that aligned with the fashion show and Topical's presence

After studying the fashion week content during FW22, I noticed that the content was redudant and not as impactful as it could be. Two things that stuck out to me is that many influencers were either not invited/ snuck in and there was no BTS content of the actual show, just the Hi-res photos and video that followed. I created a plan that showed two in an engaging way.

We partnered @armielchandler with who created a video posing as if he snuck in the show and showed us the true influencer POV outside of the front row aesthetic. it shows what some creators REALLY go through to attend these events usually reserved for the fashion elite. the storytelling was 10/10.

Secondly, we went behind the scenes to chat with models during their skin prep and capture the moments before the show to articulate what prep is done before the final show. the models wore Faded Eye Masks and Slather for a healthy glow for the under eye and skin.
